A Letter to the US Voters

I think this letter, that was sent to a Yahoo group I belong to, says alot about the way the US has been looked at and where we are going now...

Dear guys, dear Americans who voted Obama, thank you, thank you,
thank you!
Thank you for giving the world a marvelous sample of courage,
democracy and love; for getting us definitively rid of all those
disastrous bushes; for giving Western countries the chance to remodel
our view on the Empire and admire you; for offering through your
hopeful choice a new light to cop with the planet's hard and urgent
difficulties (I really think Obama will operate on new right basis on
the subject).
I'm writing from Italy (an unhappy country with popes and
berlusconis) and I envy you as well as I enjoy Obama's election for I
think he will change many things IN and OUT the USA.
I listened Barak's speech in Chicago (I was touched to tears) and all
of a sudden I went `ohmygowd!'… Paradoxically, Barak means in some
relative languages `Benedictus' as the current Catholic pope, Barak
looks more Christian though! Obama's point of view on humankind is
far more lovely and open minded than the pope's.
I've never been shopping gods on the planet's religions for I don't
need one. I need to KNOW not to believe and I know Obama is the right
choice and YOU made it. Thank you, guys!
Hector
