Tampa Vs Hurricanes

As you can see the main parts of both storms are predicted to miss us... but if you are in New Orleans and reading this .. you are not too bright LOL you should already be gone! Gustov also seems to be headding west after making landfall.

Hanna on the other hand is wandering around and appears to eventually head up towards the carolinas. I have lots of friends in that area and they are paying close attention to this potential Hurricane.... as well as the entire east coast of Florida.

As if that werent enough there are several more storms brewing in the Atlantic that are heading in this general direction. This is all subject to change hourly as always ... Ike and Josephine are growing as I type this.

2008 Olympics Oopsies

Now that the Olympics are over and we have been awed by the ceremonies and impressed with the tallent and turned on by the sexxy stars of the games... we can look at a few of the bloopers.
Here are some actual comments made by various people during the games....

1. Weightlifting commentator: 'This is Gregorieva from Bulgaria. I saw her snatch this morning during her warm up and it was amazing.'
2. Dressage commentator: 'This is really a lovely horse and I speak from personal experience since I once mounted her mother.'
3. Paul Hamm, Gymnast: 'I owe a lot to my parents, especially my mother and father.'
4. Boxing Analyst: 'Sure there have been injuries, and even some deaths in boxing, but none of them really that serious.'
5. Softball announcer: 'If history repeats itself, I should think we can expect the same thing again.'
6. Basketball analyst: 'He dribbles a lot and the opposition doesn't like it. In fact you can see it all> over their faces.'
7. At the rowing medal ceremony: 'Ah, isn't that nice, the wife of the IOC president is hugging the cox of the British crew.'
8. Soccer commentator: 'Julian Dicks is everywhere. It's like they've got eleven Dicks on the field.'
9. Tennis commentator: 'One of the reasons Andy is playing so well is that, before the final round, his wife takes out his balls and kisses them... Oh my God, what have I just said?'

Fay Fay go away!!

Well we have had the presence of Ms Fay for way too long now. She like other things has over stayed her welcome. It is time for her to move on. After having closed my store for a day and then not getting even a sprinkle or breeze but just dull crappy weather. Not that I want bad weather but move on biotch! Some areas have over 24" of rain already and you just sit and spin.... Humm but that reminds me of something else LOL.... Now it looks as if she has changed her mind and is comming back this way... GO AWAY!

Fay approches

Well it is that time of year ... again ... Hurricane season. We have Fay on the way! I will post and have any pics that I can get as soon as I can .. as of the latest update the storm should pass Tampa to the east by about 20 miles. The further east the better, since all of the rain is on the eastern side of the storm.

My Newest Son

Please meet my newest "adapted" son Tucker. Tucker is one very cute young man. At his young age of 19 he has learned alot. He is as sweet as he is cute. Not to embarress him more.. but he is also very intelligent. He is now part of the LTC family as well as part of mine. For more about him either come visit him at LTC or check his blog out .. it is linked in the title.

My Favorite Olympic Pics

These are some of my favorite pics from the olympics so far. The top one has an interesting story ... Apparently at the exact same time as Michael Phelps was presented his first Gold medal .... Lightning struck the Acropolis in Greece. As far as I am concerned there is nothing sexxier than a gymnast at work .. and Sasha is one of the best!

Riccy & Jeremy Update #2

Everyone will be happy to know that Riccy was released from the hospital on Thursday morning. He and Jeremy made the long drive back home shortly after that. Riccy apparently felt every little bump and was somewhat uncomfortable. With everything he was doing, Jeremy is begining to show signs of exaustion. Knowing him, he won't relax untill Riccy is back to his normal self. I have tried to slow him down but that didnt work. He is the sweetest most caring guy I know. They have decided to hire someone to come in and help out till Riccy is better so Jeremy can go back to work, and not worry as much. Riccy's two puppies were almost excited that he is home as he was. Last night Jeremy said that Riccy was asleep with one on each side of him. I hope to hear more from Eric this evening.

My Buffalo Trip

Well I am back home in Tampa now.. Had a great trip to Buffalo except for one thing and that is not getting to spend time with my son and son-in-law, Riccy and Jeremy.
The trip up was very smooth.. although I did see the formation of Hurricane Eduard.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn in Williamsville. The hotel staff was one of the nicest bunch of people I think I have ever met. Everyone had the greatest attitudes and huge smiles that you knew were genuine. Williamsville is a nice little quaint town.
Our welcoming party was at a the Eagle House which was built in the 1890's and has a great history that matches the personalities of the staff. On the way from the hotel and the restaurant is an old style neighborhood pub. The inside was all original hand carved woods and really an interesting place.
The Tuxedo Junction people were the best hosts and had everything set up and timed out so we weren't rushed but had time to have the meetings and get some fun in also. .
Sunday evening, some of our people decided they had to find a pool table ... no matter where it was. Well at 12 AM it is not an easy task as they found out. After a rather expensive cab ride they ended up in downtown Buffalo and finally found a table. They finally made it home around 3:30 AM. I was glad I didn't go on that excursion.
Monday began at 9:00 with meetings till noon then a huge lunch followed with more meetings till 5 then back to the hotel to get ready for dinner at a nice but rather hidden restaurant in a Ramada near University at Buffalo in Amherst. After dinner some of the ladies disappeared to Niagara Falls and the casinos. The men weren't invited LOL.
The meetings on Tuesday ended with a tour of some stores and the unbelievable Plant. It is amazing how well it is set up and how well it runs. They do everything in house from production to laundry

After the tour we were then off to the airport for the trip home.
Except for not being able to meet up with the boys ... I did get to chat with Riccy on Monday evening.... It was a great trip. If things work out, I will try to get back there this fall or spring
.

More Michael Bryette

My favorite gay artist, Michael Bryette, is at it again. This man has a fantastic talent. If you havent visited his site yet click on the banner and have fun. The site has to be experienced. Click on each pic in his gallery to see a larger version as well as some detail pics and a story about the piece. Also check the quotes in the upper corner of each page of the site.. they make you think some. Over the years I have been to many artist sites but none have the class or content that Michael shows in his.
