My Buffalo Trip

Well I am back home in Tampa now.. Had a great trip to Buffalo except for one thing and that is not getting to spend time with my son and son-in-law, Riccy and Jeremy.
The trip up was very smooth.. although I did see the formation of Hurricane Eduard.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn in Williamsville. The hotel staff was one of the nicest bunch of people I think I have ever met. Everyone had the greatest attitudes and huge smiles that you knew were genuine. Williamsville is a nice little quaint town.
Our welcoming party was at a the Eagle House which was built in the 1890's and has a great history that matches the personalities of the staff. On the way from the hotel and the restaurant is an old style neighborhood pub. The inside was all original hand carved woods and really an interesting place.
The Tuxedo Junction people were the best hosts and had everything set up and timed out so we weren't rushed but had time to have the meetings and get some fun in also. .
Sunday evening, some of our people decided they had to find a pool table ... no matter where it was. Well at 12 AM it is not an easy task as they found out. After a rather expensive cab ride they ended up in downtown Buffalo and finally found a table. They finally made it home around 3:30 AM. I was glad I didn't go on that excursion.
Monday began at 9:00 with meetings till noon then a huge lunch followed with more meetings till 5 then back to the hotel to get ready for dinner at a nice but rather hidden restaurant in a Ramada near University at Buffalo in Amherst. After dinner some of the ladies disappeared to Niagara Falls and the casinos. The men weren't invited LOL.
The meetings on Tuesday ended with a tour of some stores and the unbelievable Plant. It is amazing how well it is set up and how well it runs. They do everything in house from production to laundry

After the tour we were then off to the airport for the trip home.
Except for not being able to meet up with the boys ... I did get to chat with Riccy on Monday evening.... It was a great trip. If things work out, I will try to get back there this fall or spring
.
